The Mentor Standard® Accreditation Framework

At The Mentor Standard®, we accredit Mentorship Programmes within the financial services sector, for companies who are able to robustly evidence achievement against the eight standards contained within our three principles; Strong Leadership, Sustained Support and Strategic Improvement.

What are the benefits accreditation brings?

  • Accredited programmes may display The Mentor Standard® logo on all marketing materials and programme documentation as endorsement of excellent provision and support.
  • We will also provide a digital certificate of accreditation for display in your organisation.
  • Membership to The Mentor Standard® for 12 months giving you access to our suite of resources as well as CPD certified training at discounted prices.

How does accreditation work?

The Mentor Standard® accreditation is valid for 12 months and assessed via a points system and there are 150 points in total. Points are awarded for evidence demonstrating how the mentorship programme fulfils our eight standards.

Do you accredit at different levels?

Yes, our Standard Accreditation requires an overall score of 127 out of 150pts (85%), whilst to achieve our Gold standard you will need 142pts or higher (95%).
